Chloe Moretz Fiorentini & Baker Eli Boots

Here’s actress Chloe Moretz, arriving at LAX in a solid casual travel outfit that includes a pair of slouchy black leather Fiorentini & Baker Eli Boots and her trusty Chanel Graffiti Backpack. These boots have been pretty popular for a couple of years, and they’re an excellent boot option for fall; they’re sturdy, not too bulky and slip easily on and off. You can currently find these Italian-made celeb faves for $540 at Barneys.

Chloe has great fashion instincts (or a top notch stylist) for a 17-year-old celeb. She’s already a darling of several major fashion houses, including Chanel and Dior, and she’s definitely one of the youngest people to get a front-row seat at Paris Fashion Week. You can check out more of Chloe’s best designer looks, bags, and shoes in “The Many Bags of Chloe Moretz” on PurseBlog. Her edition of “The Many Shoes of…” can’t be far behind.

National Handbag Day Spotlight: See by Chloé Lizzie Convertible Backpack

Categories:Other Brands

We’re one day closer to National Handbag Day, and with the See by Chloé Lizzie Convertible Backpack, we’re also one handbag closer. All week, we’re revealing a special handbag each day, all of which can only be bought through our NHD partner, Bloomingdale’s. As you can see, this one’s charms are apparent.

See by Chloé flies a bit under the radar when compared to its big-sister line, Chloé, but over the past several seasons, the contemporary brand’s handbags have consistently surprised us in the best possible way. This bag hits a couple of big Fall 2014 trends–backpacks and pastels–without feeling overly trendy or seasonal at all, which is an impressive feat unto itself.

This is the kind of bag that everyone on the PurseBlog team adores; it feels current, luxurious, modern, subtle and functional, all at a price point far less prohibitive than many of the brands that we regularly cover here. And for now, you can only buy it at Bloomingdale’s.

Pick up this bag in the Bloomingdale’s National Handbag Day pop-up shop for $495

Going to fashion shows in Paris is fun but I also enjoy exploring the city, walking to literally everywhere and finding different cafes, art galleries, museums, and much more. The weather so far has been very nice and sunny for most of the days with a little breeze that’s just enough to throw on a leather jacket. song-of-style-chloe-leather-jacketsong-of-style-chloe-leather-jacket-everlane-loafers

Like always, when I’m packing for abroad, I make sure to throw in some basic pieces that I can re-wear in different ways. This time my basics were a couple of light sweaters, this utility shirt, and these Everlane loafers that I knew I can easily dress up or down. So glad I packed these loafers because they are so easy to wear this fall with anything from skinny jeans to a mini dress without making the look too casual, plus they are super comfortable and made from soft Italian

fun and flirty boudoir shoot

I have always thought of boudoir photos as something that involved girls looking cheesy and trying to be too sexy, and not like themselves in photos.  Recently, my opinion of them totally changed when a local fabulous photographer in Orange County, Chloe Atnip, asked me if I would be interested in shooting a few boudoir images with her.  I immediately said yes and thought it would be a great experience to do a fun and flirty boudoir shoot and share how to do one like this that involves great photos, without the cheesiness of overly sexy images.  We shot these right after I chopped my hair into a lob in July, so my hair is a tad shorter than normal.  When thinking of the different looks for boudoir, I love the idea of bralettes, slips, men’s shirts, and silky robes as a way to be feminine in photos without being overly revealing.  These accessories to me are the perfect way to get great looks that would make the ideal wedding day gift for a spouse, or even a surprise holiday gift for someone special.

This weekend I am excited to relax and have absolutely nothing planned other than a girls dinner out on Saturday night.  I have been craving a good movie and popcorn session as well, so that may have to be worked into my weekend plans of relaxation in addition to my routine of watching my favorite shows.  If the weather actually cools off a bit, I may try and squeeze in a hike on my favorite trail in Newport Coast as well.  I hope you all have a great weekend. xo

Chloe Spring/Summer 2015 Collection – Paris Fashion Week

The Chloe spring/summer 2015 collection has just taken Paris Fashion Week by storm with its bohemian, romantic and airy designs, so ideal for the bright season to come! It was a show drenched in summer breeze, a laid-back carefree style that is also super-feminine and elegant. Bringing mainly dress styles in various lengths, but also stylish separates composed of cute mini skirts and short shorts, the Chloe spring 2015 collection showed its aspiration to make spring and summer dressing effortless, easy and beautiful. Clare Waight Keller managed to preserve the iconic Chloe style, at the same time bringing modern designs that will appeal to any fashioniser, who appreciate the boho-chic and romantic style in fashion.

Chloe Spring/Summer 2015 Collection - Paris Fashion Week

From the very first look demonstrated, the Chloe spring/summer 2015 collection did manage to penetrate into our heart and mind, making us long for those flowy designs. The opening look clearly shaped the basic style inclination of the entire line, bringing a lovely laser-cut white crochet mini strappy dress with an open back, which carried notes of the slip dress merged with bohemian attitude. The same style and design elements had been applied to yet another white dress, which was short-sleeved and had cute side pockets. Immediately here the show presented other key colors used in the collection, being the burnt mustard and navy blue, which were later joined by blacks, blush pinks, light blues and browns.
Instead of using spring’s popular prints and patterns, Keller played with textures and fabrics, making those monochrome pieces utterly desirable and special. We saw lots of denim, crochet, lace, tweed, silk and chiffon, all of which managed to look extremely summer worthy and relaxed. In addition, she used lots of intricate details, such as laser cuts, zips, oversized eyelet cuts, chain motifs and airy flowing shapes, joined with super-thin straps for the majority of the mini and floor-length dresses and breathtaking backless designs.
In line with lots of summery dresses and see-through tops, the Chloe spring/summer 2015 collection also brought pretty smart and elegant designs, like that zip-up tweed mini dress or the combo of the tweed tailored shorts and a tweed blazer worn over a classic navy blue shirt. We also saw vintage-style denim pieces, including the overall with big pockets, the cute shorts and the dress with the same design elements.

The play with textures also brought us uber-killer suede dresses, combos of shorts and jackets and much more. They never looked heavy and carried lovely elegant motifs fused with casual vibes. Still, it was the array of flowing chiffon designs that brought the iconic Chloe style to the catwalk: the tops were long-sleeved mostly, which were oversized and flowing, and the dresses featured thin straps and rounded V-necks, carrying asymmetric motifs and slight layering and pleating. Some of those dresses with adorned with chain details on the front top part, revealing more skin, yet looking so sophisticated and feminine.
The Chloe spring/summer 2015 collection impressed not only in terms of stunning casual wear, office wear and eveningwear attire options, but also the gorgeous accessories used to make those looks that vibrant and complete. We saw uber-tiny reptile skin and colorful leather bags, lace-up summer booties on heels, as well as flat strappy sandals that instantly found their special places in our big spring 2015 wishlists. The models’ makeup was kept to a minimum, and the hair was left loose, relaxed and natural, quite matching the overall mood created.
It’s extremely hard not to fall in love with the magically chic Chloe spring/summer 2015 collection! So if you are a hopeless fashion addict and love the romantic style, this is the best place to start revamping your spring 2015 wardrobe!
